Project brief.
Unite Students are the leading provider of student accommodation in the UK, across 27 cities. For their new accommodation in Edinburgh they wanted a solution that fitted their design intent and would allow them to easily modify rooms for disabled students as and when required.
Project scope.
Unite engaged Motionspot to design, specify and supply product for 47 accessible student bathrooms.
Central to our design was the inclusion of removeable grab rail technology. This can be added and detached depending on the individual access needs of students. This innovative approach gives Unite flexible units and their students a personalised space that enables them to get the most out of their time at university.
By involving Motionspot in the earliest stages of the designs, Unite was able to create fully compliant rooms without detracting from the look and feel of their modern apartments.
