When a space is designed thoughtfully it can reduce feelings of disorientation, distress and agitation. Nowhere is this more important than in a healthcare setting. Hospitals can be overwhelming and unfamiliar places at a time when people may be dealing with additional worry and illness.

Our approach.
Our consultancy services help healthcare providers to create inclusive facilities that go beyond building regulations to truly foster physical and mental wellbeing. In addition to design for patients and visitors with a physical disability, our approach pays particular attention to cognitive and sensory needs, including designing for dementia and neurodiversity.
Our inclusive product advice service also helps create well designed accessible patient en-suites that help people feel calm, supported, and comfortable, while balancing the clinical needs of the facility. We are experienced at working closely with hospital operations, procurement and building control teams to ensure the highest spec finish in this specialist environment.
